Martin Gray, Penny's No 2 has applied to be next Latics manager.

Gray who was in charge at Saturday's game against Charlton has made no secret of his long term ambition to become a manager.

Latics have confirmed that League 1 clubs will recieve 328.000 from the premier league.

Champion ship clubs will receive 2.2m and league 2 clubs will recieve 218.000 repectively.
